2021 ASA Nationals Planned for Denver

The American Subbuteo Association Board of Directors wishes all members a happy new year. The COVID pandemic made 2020 an extremely difficult year for everyone, including the ASA and the global subbuteo table soccer community.

But 2021 brings new hope. With the distribution of effective vaccines underway and a more vigorous institutional response to the raging pandemic being put into place, we believe that by late summer 2021 most Americans will have access to the vaccine.

Therefore, the ASA Board is pleased to announce that Colorado Subbuteo Club will host ASA Nationals in Denver during the weekend of August 27-29, 2021. The address of the spacious venue is: 800 S Jason St., Denver, CO, 80223. We would like to thank Zach Walker and Tory Reed for agreeing to serve as tournament and venue directors, respectively.

Additional information about the event, as well as the health and safety precautions required for participation, will be made available in the near future on the ASA website and Facebook page, and by email to active ASA members.

It is recommended that players delay making travel plans (including purchasing airplane tickets) until May/June. The ASA reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event due to the pandemic or related public health emergency.

We are excited to partner with Colorado SC for this historic tournament and look forward to seeing many players in Denver in the ASA spirit of competition, friendship, and sportsmanship.
