The Outer Banks Subbuteo Club hosted a memorable ASA Nationals Weekend in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, on October 20-22, 2023. Twenty players competed in the events.
Daniel Cranston (Maryland) won the National Championship (Open category) with a 1-0 sudden death OT win over Gregg Deinhart (Washington TSL). (Watch the match here.) Peter Alegi (Michigan) claimed the Veterans title with a 1-0 victory over Paul Eyes (Maryland). (Watch the match here.) Jonathan Goninan (Outer Banks SC) edged out Cameron Tucker (California) for the Mary Jane trophy. In the team competition, Maryland SC beat the Central California Condors 2-1 in the final.
